The fancy table I had here before was woefully out of date and I'm too lazy to update the code! So instead, here is my muselist! Anyone currently listed as being played in a game or in the 'Homeless/Memes/Museboxes' section is fair game for threading.

[The enthusiasm is infectious. Athrun can't get rid of the grin that has spread across his face, nor can he keep the faint laughter out of his voice. He liked seeing his girlfriend so thrilled.]

Indeed. I can't even recall the last time I saw you this excited, if ever. Obviously I should have done this sooner, huh?

Way sooner.

[She pulls him closer for what ends up being a pretty deep kiss just before they walk inside.]

[She catches him by surprise with that, but he doesn't fight it. After all, who doesn't enjoy kissing?

When they break apart, Athrun climbs in and straps himself to the seat in the cockpit.]

Like I said before, you'll have to sit on my lap laterally. Feel free to put your arms around my neck for support.

No worries, I've got no problem sitting in your lap.

[It isn't as if she hasn't done it before on occasion. Yuna laughs, happily settling in and lovingly throwing her arms around Athrun's neck just as instructed.]

Ready when you are!

Okay. Hang on tight.

[The cockpit hatch closes and the entire cockpit lights up. Several instruments turn on, and the screen in front lights up, first with a splash screen containing the ZAFT logo followed by writing that reads:

Generation
Unsubdued
Nuclear
Drive
Assault
Module

Then the walls of the cockpit light up as the external cameras activate, showing a 360° view in all directions around the machine. Athrun presses a button labeled "Variable Phase Shift," and a hissing-like noise is heard from the exterior of the mobile suit. A look to either side will show that the arms and legs have changed color, along with the rest of it.

Once everything is set, Athrun starts to move the Gundam. It steps back away from where it was docked, then steps forward out onto the catapult. Its feet secure themselves in the machinery, and the mobile suit crouches.]

Athrun Zala, Infinite Justice...launching!

[The catapult fires, and the Infinite Justice shoots forward. When it reaches the end, its momentum carries it into the air, at which point its verniers take over. Within less than a minute, Athrun has full control of his machine's momentum, but for now, continues cruising along, skimming the ocean's surface.]

[Yuna has to restrain herself from excitedly bouncing in place as everything starts up. That wouldn't be too comfortable for Athrun, after all. But she's still like a kid in a candy store as all the systems start lighting up, and she's looking all around watching the various monitors and the color changes with stars in her eyes.]

Wooooooooooooooooo!

[She lets out an excited squeal as the mobile suit launches, wrapping her arms tightly around Athrun and laughing happily.]

This is awesome!

[Athrun chuckles as he pulls the Gundam into a climb. Soon, the Infinite Justice's legs are skimming clouds rather than water, and at a slower speed. Athrun turns the mobile suit back around, and down on the ocean's surface, clearly visible, is the island.]

It's amazing! Even better than I imagined! I don't think I've ever felt my heart beat this fast before!

[And she can't hold in her joyous laughter as she eagerly looks out the cockpit windows to see the clouds and ocean all around her.]

[Athrun plots a short course. For now, the Infinite Justice will simply revolve around the island at its current distance.]

So, which does that apply to, the flight or the view?

[He's teasing a little bit. He's confident he knows the answer.]

Well... both, but pretty much the flight, yeah.

[Yuna laughs, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek.]

You know I'm pretty obsessed with this kind of stuff.

I know. Like I said before, I should have done this sooner. But, better late than never. Right?

I knew you'd give in eventually.

[She has been begging him to take her up here for quite a while now, and certainly wasn't above being a little shameless about it.]

If so, that's impressive. Most people typically lose games of patience against me.

Most people aren't me.

...Well, I can't argue with that -- not effectively, anyway. You are definitely one of a kind.

[Yuna grins, pulling herself a little closer as she plants another kiss on Athrun's cheek.]

So does this thing have an autopilot function?

It does, though I don't use it often. I prefer flying manually whenever I can.

Why do you ask?
