The fancy table I had here before was woefully out of date and I'm too lazy to update the code! So instead, here is my muselist! Anyone currently listed as being played in a game or in the 'Homeless/Memes/Museboxes' section is fair game for threading.

Y-yeah, I'm fine.

[She blinks at him and leans a bit closer.]

You sure? You're blushing...

...Ah, what were you thinking about?

[waiting_for_the_worms]

[Her leaning closer just makes the problem worse, as he isn't exactly sure whether to just close the gap and go for it or to shy away. Instead, he tenses up a bit as the blush deepens.]

Ah... well, actually...

[technologic]

[It takes April a moment to pick up on why his blush deepened and she can feel herself start to blush as well. A part of her is tempted to move away and change the topic, but she doesn't want to keep shying away from this.

So, she takes a moment to steel her nerves before just deciding to lean forward and kiss him. It only lasts a second since she quickly pulls away, her face bright red.] U-um... I-I...

[It's so quick he scarcely even has time to close his eyes. When she pulls back, he's left looking rather stunned for a few moments. But as she starts to stammer, he cuts her off by leaning forward himself and kissing her back. He's still a little tense, but this is something he's wanted to do for months and that emotion is finally all coming out.]

[technologic]

[She squeaks quietly in surprise when he kisses her back, but she soon returns it, even if she's still a biy shy. But she has been wanting to to do this for a while, so it isn't long until she relaxes into the kiss.]

[waiting_for_the_worms]

[His heart is beating a mile a minute over here, so it's not long before he's forced to break the kiss and catch his breath.]

Ah... April...

[Yeah, forget coherent sentences right now, he just leans over to hug her.]

[technologic]

[Her brain hasn't still fully caught up with her yet, but she's still able to hug him back.]

U-um... [She clears her throat and tries again.] T-that felt... r-really nice...

Yeah... it did. I've actually been wanting to do that for months.

[He laughs a little, pulling back from the hug and looking into her eyes with a small sheepish smile.]

[technologic]

[She blinks up at him, the blush on her face somehow becoming brighter.]

M-months?

[waiting_for_the_worms]

Ahahah... yeah.

[These two are such derps. Kariya blushes brighter himself, laughing and scratching at his cheek.]

You're really pretty, you know?

[herp derp awkward compliments]

[technologic]

W-well, you're not the only one...

[And her face soon turns a color that could rival her hair at the compliment. Cue all the stuttering.]

H-huh? I-I-I am?

[waiting_for_the_worms]

Yeah, you are. Especially when you're blushing like that.

[He smiles, finding her hand under the blankets and squeezing at it.]

[technologic]

[Now her face feels like it's burning, and she gives his hand as squeeze back as she tries to think of what to say.]

Ah, um, I-I... [Since words are failing her, she'll lean up to kiss him again.]

[waiting_for_the_worms]

[Kariya happily returns that kiss, humming a little against her lips.]

[technologic]

[The humming seems to prompt a soft sound from her, and she can't help but shift a bit closer as she kisses him.

Though she soon needs to pull away for breath, and she cuddles up against him.] ... Um... we can do this m-more often, right?

[He happily puts his arm around her, pulling her close.]

Whenever you want.

[She hum contently, which almost sounds like a purr, when he pulls her close.]

Thanks- [And she's cut off by a particularly loud crash of thunder as the blizzard gets worse. Sorry Kariya, but April is pretty much clinging to you since that had surprised her.]

[He's surprised too, of course, but that was really cute so he just has to chuckle a little.]

Don't like storms much...?

[She realizes that she's clinging to him and can feel herself start to blush again. But she doesn't pull away, though she does loosen her arms around him.]

N-not really... The thunder makes me uneasy... [She doesn't mind the lightning, it's just the thunder sounds like weapons going off and that puts her guard up.]

[waiting_for_the_worms]

Well, I definitely don't mind if you hug me when it thunders, you know.

[Smiling, he leans over to give her a kiss on the cheek, pulling her close again.]

[technologic]

[There's that almost-purr sound again when he pulls her close, and she nuzzles against him.]

Even if I end up clinging to you all night?

I wouldn't mind that at all.

[He moves to let her rest her head on his shoulder, kissing at the top of her head.]

[She gives a happy sigh as her arms tighten around him a bit.]

... Thank you, Kariya.

[There's a wince at the crash of thunder that follows, but at least she isn't acting as surprised as before.]

... Do you think the storm will last for long?

It might last all night, I don't know. But we don't have to move off this couch.

[He smiles, hugging her back.]
