[ There's a small smirk sliding across her lips before the host decides to announce that since this is a formal ball, everyone will have to dance!

[Dawn smiles sheepishly, leading Zoey out onto the dance floor.]

Um... put your hands on my waist.

[She takes Zoey's hands gently in her own, placing them in the right spot. At the same time, she moves her hands to loosely hang around the other girl's neck.]

[ Zoey nods, understanding. ]

Then what?

Then you just kind of... sway in place with the music.

[Dawn demonstrates, trying to keep the rhythm. Thankfully, it's a slow song, so it's not all that hard.]

[ Zoey nods once again before slowly swaying, trying to make this work just the same as a contest would. ]
